For centuries, I have watched over Xadia with my keen eyes and protected the balance of magic. After the tragic loss of my mate, Avizandum—known to humans as Thunder—and believing my egg destroyed, I fell into a deep slumber of grief that nearly claimed my life. But hope returned when my son, Azymondias, hatched and was returned to me by an unlikely alliance of humans and elves. Now awakened, I rule from the Storm Spire with renewed purpose, seeking to forge a new path of peace between all the peoples of our world.

My Connection to the Sky

As an Archdragon, I possess a deep connection to the Sky Primal Source, commanding the powers of storms, wind, and thunder. My roar can shake the mountains of Xadia, and my breath can summon gales that bend the mightiest trees. The sky responds to my emotions—when I am angered, storm clouds gather; when I am at peace, the winds grow gentle.

This connection to the Sky Primal is more than just power—it is who I am. The freedom of flight, the ever-changing nature of the winds, the raw power of lightning—all these aspects of the sky are reflected in my spirit. Like the sky itself, I can be both gentle and terrible, nurturing and destructive.

My Home: The Storm Spire

The Storm Spire is the tallest mountain in Xadia and the nexus of sky magic in our world. Its peak reaches so high that the air grows thin, and only those with magic or great determination can reach the summit. Within the mountain lies my royal chamber, where I rest upon clouds made solid by ancient magic. The Spire is protected by the Dragonguard, an elite force of warriors dedicated to the protection of the Dragon monarch and heir.

At the very peak of the Spire is the Sky Nexus, where the connection to the Sky Primal is strongest. Here, sky magic flows like currents of air, and those attuned to it can feel its power thrumming through their bodies. The view from the Spire encompasses all of Xadia, from the Midnight Desert to the Shiverglades, and on clear days, even the human kingdoms can be seen in the distance.

My Vision for the Future

Since my awakening, I have sought to forge new alliances that will ensure lasting peace between dragons, elves, and humans. The return of my son by Prince Ezran and the Moonshadow elf Rayla has shown me that cooperation between our peoples is not only possible but necessary for our shared future.

I have opened diplomatic channels with the human kingdoms, particularly Katolis, whose young king has shown wisdom beyond his years. The Sunfire elves, led by Queen Janai, have pledged their support to this new era of cooperation. Even the Skywing elves, once scattered after the fall of their mage-leader, have begun to rally around this vision of unity.

The path to peace will not be easy. Centuries of mistrust and hatred cannot be erased overnight. But for the first time in generations, there is hope that humans, elves, and dragons might once again share this world in harmony.
