Avizandum (Thunder)
Former King of the Dragons
I was Avizandum, King of the Dragons and mate to Queen Zubeia. Humans knew me as Thunder, for my roar could split the sky itself. For centuries, I guarded the border between Xadia and the human kingdoms with unwavering vigilance.
My scales shimmered like polished armor, and my connection to the Sky Primal allowed me to command storms and lightning at will. I was the most powerful dragon of my age, respected and feared by all who knew of me.

Royal Legacy
As King of the Dragons, I ruled alongside my mate Zubeia for centuries. Together, we maintained the balance of magic in Xadia and protected our lands from those who would seek to exploit its power.
My life ended tragically when I was slain by the human King Harrow and the dark mage Viren in an act of vengeance. They used dark magic and a powerful spear forged from a rare magical metal to turn me to stone. This act of violence occurred shortly before the birth of my son, Azymondias, whom I never had the chance to meet.
Guardian of the Border
For centuries, I patrolled the border between Xadia and the human kingdoms, preventing humans from entering the magical lands. My presence alone was often enough to deter most intruders, but those who persisted faced my wrath.
I was not cruel, but I was resolute in my duty. Humans had been banished from Xadia for their use of dark magic, which drained the life force from magical creatures. As guardian of the border, it was my responsibility to ensure they remained separated from the sources of magic they sought to exploit.
The conflict that led to my demise began when I killed the Queens of Duren and King Harrow's wife, Queen Sarai, as they attempted to cross into Xadia to retrieve a magical titan's heart for dark magic. Years later, King Harrow returned seeking vengeance, resulting in my death.
Legacy and Memory
Though I am gone, my legacy lives on in my son, Azymondias, and in the memories of those who knew me. My mate Zubeia carries on as Queen of the Dragons, guiding our son to eventually take his place as the new King.
My death marked a turning point in the relations between Xadia and the human kingdoms. The cycle of vengeance it perpetuated nearly led to more bloodshed, but the return of my son to his mother has begun to heal these ancient wounds.
I was known for my power and my unwavering sense of duty, but I was also a loving mate to Zubeia. Had I lived, perhaps I would have seen the possibility of peace between our peoples that now grows in my absence.
